What it is

A model's market pay, not a count of what was observed.

Observed datasets — BLS OEWS, posting scrapes — tell you what was recorded, with all the gaps and lumps of real-world data: thin cells, missing levels, no clean function cut. This is the other kind. We fit a combined survey-blend equation across roughly 250 surveys (source treated as a variable, so a survey's tendency to run high or low is modeled out), then run it across the full Job × Level grid. The result is a complete, rectangular dataset — every cell filled, on one consistent taxonomy.

That makes it the input you want for building pay structures, sanity-checking offers, or placing a range where no single survey has a clean read. It's the same equation that powers the platform's live pay predictions, packaged as a bulk, licensable file.

This is modeled market pay — a model's best read of the market, not your organization's own pay data and not a licensed survey you can cite to a board verbatim. It's a reference you build on and adapt to your job architecture. The files are watermarked CSV + JSON, licensed for your team's internal use, not resale or redistribution. If you need a model built on a survey your board recognizes — Aon/Radford, Mercer, WTW — that's the bring-your-own-survey build, not this file.
